The Piano Tuning Appointment

If there’s anything about your piano that you’re not happy with or needs fixing aside from tuning, please let me know before your appointment so I can allow  extra time and bring the right equipment. (If you can, send me a video of the problem)

• ON ARRIVAL I NEED YOUR ATTENTION FOR 10 MINUTES.  Please stay with me for 10 minutes while I assess your piano and get started with the tuning.

• I'll be opening up the piano to tune it, so if you can remove all items sitting on top of the piano before I arrive it's much appreciated - upright or grand.

• Please have PAYMENT READY in CASH or have your CREDIT CARD present for payment when the tuning is complete.

• QUIET PLEASE I don’t need total silence, but the noisier it is around the piano, the more difficult it is to do my job. Please check that the time you book isn't the same time as cleaners vacuuming,  or other noisy activities.

• I love chatting with my customers, but once I start tuning that’s where my FOCUS needs to be to do my best work for you.

• The tuning usually takes an hour, but I like to allow 90 mins for making sure pedals are working smoothly, a little cleaning and anything else that I may be able to address to make the playing experience better for you, also time for you to:

• Check the piano before I leave. Please check the piano carefully by playing it before I leave or stay with me while I play it and make sure you’re satisfied.
